Version 1.0, effective [to confirm: launch date]
This policy explains the cookies used on coffeecyber.com and in the Coffee Cyber control panel. Coffee Cyber is a trading name of Coffee Cup Solutions Ltd.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let the site remember things between pages, such as the fact that you are signed in.
2. We only use strictly necessary cookies
We keep cookies to a minimum. We only use cookies that are strictly necessary to run the site securely and keep you signed in. We do not use:
- analytics or statistics cookies;
- advertising or marketing cookies;
- tracking cookies of any kind; or
- third-party cookies on our website.
3. The cookies we use
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| coffee-cyber-session [to confirm: exact cookie name] | Keeps your session working as you move between pages, including keeping you signed in to the control panel. | 2 hours after your last activity |
| XSRF-TOKEN | Security. Protects you against cross-site request forgery, where another site tries to send requests to ours in your name. | 2 hours after your last activity |
| remember_web_[random characters] | Only set if you choose "remember me" when signing in. Keeps you signed in on that device so you do not need to sign in each visit. | Up to 400 days, or until you sign out [to confirm] |
4. Cookies on other sites we send you to
Some steps take you to pages run by other companies. Those pages set their own cookies, under their own policies:
- Stripe: when you set up a payment method, you go to Stripe's hosted payment pages. Stripe sets cookies there for security and fraud prevention. See Stripe's cookie information.
- Microsoft: if you choose to sign in with your Microsoft work account, Microsoft sets cookies on its sign-in pages. See Microsoft's privacy statement.
These cookies are set on Stripe's and Microsoft's own websites, not on ours.
5. Why there is no cookie banner
UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations) requires consent for cookies, except where a cookie is strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for. All the cookies we set fall within that exception. That is why we do not show a cookie consent banner. If we ever add cookies that need consent, we will ask for it first and update this policy.
6. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the cookies above, the control panel will not work, because you will not be able to stay signed in. Signing out removes the "remember me" cookie.
7. More information
For more about how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Notice. If you have questions about this policy, contact us through the support section of your control panel, or write to Coffee Cup Solutions Ltd, Unit 3, Millars Brook, Wokingham, Berkshire, RG41 2AD.
